Information We Collect

Information you provide. E-mail addresses and message contents when you contact us; contact and billing details when you place an order or request a quote; information you volunteer through forms such as surveys or registrations.

Information collected automatically. Standard technical data about visits to this website: Internet Protocol address, browser type and language, referring URL, pages accessed, errors, and operating system. We use this in aggregate to analyze trends, administer the website, and improve the experience.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to inquiries, process orders and quotes, operate and improve the website, and — only if you have dealt with us — send occasional product or service updates. You can opt out of marketing at any time (below). We do not sell personal information.

Cookies & Analytics

Netmon.com uses cookies to improve the user experience, such as recognizing return visits. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage; it sets cookies and receives standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable without them.

Marketing Opt-Out

To stop receiving product or service e-mails, reply to any of our e-mails with “REMOVE” or “No Interest” in the subject line, or contact us by e-mail, phone, or mail and we will remove you.

We maintain security measures to protect the information we hold, and connections to this website are encrypted with SSL/TLS.

AI Assistant Integration (Netmon MCP Bridge)

Netmon offers an optional integration that lets AI assistants (such as Claude) query a Netmon appliance through the Model Context Protocol. The connector (“bridge”) published at github.com/Netmon-Services/netmon-mcpd runs on your own computer, not on our servers.

What it collects and where it goes. The bridge transmits data only between your computer and the Netmon appliance URL you configure — typically on your own network. It sends nothing to Netmon Inc. and nothing to any third party. Your questions and your appliance’s responses travel between your AI assistant and your appliance; Netmon Inc. never receives, stores, or processes them.

What it stores locally. The bridge keeps a small amount of state on your computer under ~/.netmon-mcp/: the pinned certificate fingerprint of your appliance and a diagnostic log. Your API token is stored by your AI assistant application, not by the bridge. Deleting the ~/.netmon-mcp/ folder removes everything the bridge has stored; tokens can be revoked at any time in the Netmon web interface.

Retention. Because Netmon Inc. receives no data from the integration, we retain none. Data the appliance itself collects is governed by your organization’s own configuration and retention settings.

Access & Corrections

Customers can request access to the information we maintain about them — including contact, financial, and transaction details — and have incorrect information corrected by contacting us.
